Killing Dog Fleas, Finding Home Remedies, Part One-C

Amazing Products You Already Have...

This is a great method if there are way too many fleas camping in your pets coat.

Ever eat a lot of garlic, only to kind of start smelling like it? Well, typical of bloodsuckers, fleas don't seem to like garlic very much. So strong is this dislike, in fact, that they "kick the bucket", if you will, get a taste of it in the dog's blood. Feed your pet small amounts of garlic. You will be amazed at how drastically the number of fleas will drop from your dog's skin and hair.

Same holds true for vinegar and Brewer's yeast. Try mixing vinegar in your dog's drinking water. They will be checking out in no time. Hotel K9 is closed for business.

A word of caution, though: sizable servings of garlic has been proven to be detrimental to your dog's health, and the same can be said for small doses over an extended period of time. Your best bet is to allow your dog to switch to another natural remedy for dog fleas once the garlic has done its job.

Done right, this can be a very effective way of killing dog fleas. Keep these tactics in mind as well as the cautions. If your dog has any reactions to any of these remedies, please discontinue that remedy. You might also want to check with your dog's vet.
