Fleas are, unfortunately, all around us. It is very easy for your best friend to become infested by them. Since this is such a major problem, I have decided to create a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about killing dog fleas. If you have not run into this problem yet, it is only a matter of time, and here is where you can come to get information.

Q: What are the some of the common ways of killing dog fleas?

A: This question is usually asked by those who have gotten a pet for the first time and were taken by surprise by the sudden infestation. Some attempts at killing dog fleas include the following:

  • bathing your dog and using various chemical remedies or oils that suffocate adult fleas. Then comes the ritual of removing the flea eggs from their fur
  • Add garlic and vinegar to your dog's food.
  • Apply a variety of sprays and powders that drastically reduce the flea population in both dog and home.

There is definitely not a shortage of ways of treating dog fleas, though some are more effective than others. If you have a new pet and you don't know what to do, you can try experimenting with your dog and these various treatment options to see which works well for your dog.
